CQ, just a suggestion: Yes, zapping a whole thread would be an option, but several thoughtful and valuable comments might be flushed along with the bad stuff.
So, the next time you delete some doo-doo, maybe you could post something like, "Alas! It was necessary to do some house cleaning here! *sigh of despair*"
Otherwise, yeah, weirdsville ensues.

In this instance, removing all the posts from the arrival of the unpleasant newbie to the end would have been the better way to go. Anything of greater substance was above that post, and could remain. That way, there wouldn't be fragments that seem to make no sense because they aren't attached to the original post that started the thread.
Whatever. The mods are going to do it their way no matter what we suggest.
