    Average length for nonfiction?

What's the average length for a nonfiction bio?

My YA fantasy is 90,000 words, maybe a bit long, and I'm about a third the way through my wife's bio and want to make sure its not too short or too long.

I'm looking at about 70,000-80,000 words. Too short?

It should be as many words as it takes to tell the story without a bunch of bs going on that doesn't matter. Write tight. Let it rest for a month and read it again, then delete the junk you think is brilliant.
