    I see what you're saying C. bets (I think). Something that would say that even when fantasizing about being with someone else, she almost can't capture that because she is so FAR removed from connections. (When I, ahem, engage in said act, though I definitely know I'm alone, there's at least a moment of non-aloneness, if that makes any sense.)

    I don't know, I think it's entirely possible to feel different ways after masturbating. Not that I ever have, mind you. Raised Catholic and all. But if I had, I could imagine there being a major difference between loving and pleasing myself and feeling like a poor substitute for companionship.
