    Biblical & Mythological Copywrite?

This might seem like a weird question, but I'm working an an urban fantasy concept that's derived from biblical and talmudic lore.

Is there anything legal preventing me from using common names, characters, or concepts from the bible, the torah, the quoran, etc., as part of a fictional plot?

    Thanks!

    Michelle

Did the answer come in the form of a voice heard overhead? ;-)
