    dialog

When I let you all read my MS for my YA book, someone mentioned dialog and how I don't need to put he said, she said after every thing spoken. I now finally agree. When I read it back, it looks back with all those he saids after what they say. You are right to whoever said that. Also, the one I put on here IS the right one,so I ended up needing all that help from you all. EXCEPT to the person, I wont mention who, who gave me a link. Did they mean I don't know how to form sentences??

    Andrea,

If you need more help, feel free to ask. MOST of us are happy to oblige.

My suggestion regarding dialog tags is to read. Seriously. Read lots of dialog and see how others do it. Read for technique, rather than for pleasure.

    Good luck,

I was happy to oblige until I read her rants. If Andrea cares to post something above grade-school level, Iíll give it the attention it deserves.

    sorry, Carol

    Hey Carol

Sorry. I found the rants. They almost escaped my notice, as I hardly ever look in publishing and editing.

    Point well taken.
