    noes looks like nose, nos reads like the short form for numbers.

    But I don't know!

    Well, I think I'm going with the "cacaphony of dissent" instead. When it doubt, don't use "noes". :-)

    Actually the -es ending rather than just -s makes sense. Other words that end in the "o" sound add an e when you pluralize...

    Tomato->tomatoes
    Potato->potatoes
    No->noes

    :-)
