    Leaglity question

I'm writing a non-fiction book and I would like to include a list of songs that go best with the subject matter. Is that illegal to do? Would I have to get all of the artists permission to list their song title and band/group/solo name?

No, just listing the title and anyone involved in putting the song out isn't a problem.
