    "journal writing"

I paused on re-reading the following:

“I’ve only known them for 3 ˝ months. It doesn’t say much for the rest of them."

Given, the manuscript is a journal. I feel there schould be a cryptic nature at times. Still it's a novel - Do I need to write out the number?

    Re: "journal writing"

Lisa, if you're keen on keeping the 1/2, I like it the way it is. I can't imagine anyone writing out "three and a half" in a real-life journal.

Otherwise, you could use "less than four months" or something like that...
