They asked for my ms about two months ago. I was wondering what is the average response time for full manusripts.

I haven't dealt with them but you can usually add 50% to whatever most pubs say their turnaround time is. Is there no time frame indicated on their submission guidelines? Double check to see if you can find one.
If they're only 2-3 weeks over, give it another week or two before sending a short, polite, emailed inquiry.

I sent one also to them about 2-3 months ago. If I remember, they said it could take four months to hear back from them.
What do you know about them?

I’m leery of sending to small publishers after I had a bad experience. I sent my ms to one and they held onto it for over six months promising a response, telling me they were deciding . . . They got my hopes up, but I found out that they accepted many ms’s with hope that you’d buy their books or at least get the word out about their co. It doesn't need to be said here, but having an agent is the best way to go.

I've seen various postings and Kunati's turnaround on a full manuscript request seems to be around 7 months-plus.
I've had another request for a full so I guess the waiting will be only half as bad.
I'm okay with small pubs taking so look to considering a book, but they should shoot off e-mails to authors they are seriously considering at least every few months.

I agree with you, EJ. I've had a request for a full and I have no idea how long the wait time will be. It was only two months for them to respond to my unsolicited partial, so I'm hoping for the same kind of timeframe.
But, no, I've never sent to Kunati, but if their wait time is up to 7 months.... will the agree to you sending your ms to other publishers in the meantime. 7 months is ages to wait when your trying to sell your manuscript!

I've email Duotrope.com and asked them to include Kunati.
