I hope this is the right forum to post this in. Has anyone ever heard of Written Pictures Publishing? I got an e-mail asking me to send them a partial of my novel, but I've checked the Web and I can't find anything about them. I'd like to know who I'm dealing with before I commit myself.
They're not on any of the Beware lists I've seen, at least.
If they are legit, this is possibly a good thing (especially since I haven't been able to find an agent for this novel).

Be very wary. Legitimate publishers, in my experience, don't solicit books from beginning writers.

A moment's checking with Google will show you that the site has been suspended by their hosting company. I also found a thread at NaNoWriMo where a "senior editor" called for submissions. Said editor later posted to the thread to state that the company no longer exists. If you're just now receiving email from them,I'd suggest that you treat it just like any other spam.
