A Day in the Life of a New York Editor

I just wanted to share an article I wrote for AuthorMagazine about my decade in NYC publishing. It\'s a realistic and entertaining look at what exactly editors at big houses do all day! Enjoy. Also feel free to ask me any questions about editing or publishing.

Thank you Erin for sharing this article. It is very clear to me you would not have worked for ten years in this business unless you loved great writing.

Best wishes to you!

Thanks for the best wishes! It was indeed an incredible experience. I still work with authors, so I'm thrilled to be able to now focus solely on editing. It's very rewarding to help aspiring authors. Oh, and of course, I get more time to write my own stuff ;)

Hope your own writing is going well!

Best,
Erin
