I have no idea what's going on in the world, I stopped watching the Nightly News about 10 years ago (does anyone watch it anymore), and don't read the paper much anymore. So if it's not on MSN news or the AOL Welcome screen, I don't know about it. Suits me fine -each time some news does come my way, it's depressing garbage.
