I can't find anything wrong with it, there are a few errors which I will not comment on, as punctuation is not my thing. The name DODMEN would be a cause for concern on this side of the Atlantic.

I don't know what type of novel you are writing. At the moment words like pleasant and readable spring to mind, gripping and dynamic do not.
