Posting excerpts for criticism

Hello,

Good afternoon. I was wondering if there is somewhere on this site where an aspiring author could post work for peer criticism?

Thanks,

Beth

Post it in the "Writing Craft" forum.

You can post as much as you like, but shorter exerpts garner more responses. I suggest no more than a few hundred words. I would also suggest that you start with your opening paragraphs.

A tip on formatting: Paragraph indents won't work. Instead, put an extra line between paragraphs and dialogue.

Last comment: it's better to post a finished, polished sample, as opposed to a first draft that contains spelling and grammar errors.

Posting a piece of your story is a bold step, but you'll get honest, unbaised opinions.

Good luck.
