While I'm waiting for an agent............any agent..........hello?...........to take on my MS, I want to try and be productive.

I've been working on a new project, but my question isn't related to that.

I had an offer from a newspaper reporter to read my MS and give me feedback. He also wrote a very favorable review for the last work I wrote......(the one I practically tossed away by publishing with a P.O.D.).

Is this a good idea? I mean a read is a read, .........but........

If you value his opinion...why not? If he's a sucky writer, I'd pass...
