I'm not sure which forum to post this in. Since it contains information on "representation", I'll post it here. Has anyone else received this letter? If not, why me?
Hi Stacy,
If you want to publish a book of your work please check out my publisher at www.silverquillpoetry.net. Phone (216) 635-1671. They do wonderful work and I have been very happy with my books. They only accept new authors by invitation or referral so feel free to tell them Valerie sent you. All of their contact information is on the home page of the website. You can call them anytime and speak to Ron. Good luck with your wonderful writing.
Valerie

I received one this morning, too, Stacy. I get them once in a while. People must scan the writing sites and offer their services to those of us who post. I found this one interesting, because none of my recent posts have discussed my genre, and this is a publisher for poetry or short stories (which I do not write). The e-mail didn't really bother me, though. You never know when someone will send helpful information, lol!

Thanks,
I appreciate your response. I won't take it as a personal attack.
I found this on writers beware:
(Just confirming that Ron's previous "publisher" was PublishAmerica, under the names "RW Kisner" and "Ronald Wayne Kisner".)
Preditors & Editors have dedicated several paragraphs to this company.
