Betty Dobson operates InkSpotter Writing and Editing, serving a diverse North American clientele from her home in Halifax, Nova Scotia. An award-winning creative writer, she has been recognized in poetry, fiction and non-fiction, including an eight-week residency at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico. Her poetry has appeared in several issues of Sol-Magazine and been accepted by 52% and Amaze: The Cinquain Journal. She is also a contributor to The Writer’s Funny Valentine and an upcoming reference book (tentatively titled The Craft of the Modern Writer). She fills her spare time--when it can be found--with her other great passions, genealogy and reading. Weekly visits to the gym help keep the dust from settling.
