Our principal focus is upon realistic fiction and non-fiction - both popular and scholarly but principally the latter - that deals with events and situations involving dramatic natural or human-caused events with high impact for populations, such as natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, terrorism, war, and including serious investigative analysis and reporting. We welcome authors and manuscripts that deal with timely, contemporary events such as global warming and climate change, global and regional conflict, terrorism and counterterrorism, homeland security and also infringement of rights and liberties, and the challenges faced by creative, innovative people who are thinking and creating "outside the box."
