Lauren Galit opened the LKG Agency in May 2005 after learning her trade from John Boswell, the noted book packager. Because she spent 10 years as a magazine editor at such noted publications as Good Housekeeping and GQ, Lauren specializes in turning magazine writers into book writers with strong non-fiction proposals. While at Boswell, she sold, most notably, "Dress Your Best" by Clinton Kelly and Stacy London, style hosts of TLC's What Not to Wear. Since then she has amassed an impressive client list including Carmindy Acosta and Nick Arrojo of What Not to Wear; Twila Liggett, founder and creator of the Emmy Award winning Reading Rainbow; and Ashley MacEachern, author of "Lance Armstrong and the Amazing Bike Race."
