ABOUT OUR AGENCY

Team Double Click Inc. Literary is not yet an AAR member (due to the required waiting period and number of sales criteria) but adhere to AAR’s Canon of Ethics. We charge NO FEES and accept 15% commission on all domestic sales and 20% on foreign.

Because we are a small agency, we only accept a limited number of clients during submission time.

Our agency was founded by Gayle Buske, proprietor of freelancing company Team Double-Click, Inc. and the Gayle Buske Graphic Design Studio. She has over ten years of freelance experience, working with writers, publishers, and editors of all written and electronic media. She has hundreds of professional writing credits under her belt in fields such as ghostwriting, article writing, corporate communications, marketing, and (voluntary) nonprofit proposal writing.


Anethea Veenman-Hodges, A.E.H. Veenman, is our literary director and chief agent. She is a published writer and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Robert Kennedy College in Switzerland.

Her expertise stems from her own experience as an author striving to gain footing in the industry. She brings knowledge of the business: its in and outs, nuts and bolts, to our team and aims to make successful authors, not just published writers, out of our clients. http://www.exobia.com


Deb Courtney joins us as our associate literary agent. She began her career in print publications as a copy editor for a group of real estate publications in Tampa, Florida. Deb worked for the Tampa Tribune and Tampa Bay Business Journal, writing business outlook and analysis pieces. She has developed and presented adult-education courses on effective business communication, and often acts as a guest creative writing teacher in grades K through 3.
In her capacity as a publicist, Deb interacts with media, creates results oriented collateral pieces, and approaches publicity from a user-centric perspective. Deb has a Bachelor's Degree in English/Fiction from the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida.
