The Greystone Literary Agency located in Washington DC is dedicated to both cultivating new voices and perspectives from the authors we represent and acting as a liaision to the publishing community.

The Agent's Role and Fees
My role as agent is to submit well crafted and targeted projects to editors, negotiate deals on your behalf and act as the author's advocate from contract negotiations thru publication. As an agent I receive a standard 15% commission on earnings from the submitted work from the moment of your first advance to your final royalty check. In accordance with AAR guidelines I do not charge a reading fee and generate my income based on the commision structure outlined above.

Michael Mancilla MSW is a licensed clinical social and co-author of a self-help book on the impact of illness on relationships. He is a graduate of NYU program which trains future Literary Agents and studied with Peter Rubie of The Peter Rubie Literary Agency.
