We ask that the author keep a copy of the manuscript for himself / herself , as , in the event that the ms does not fit our list , we inform the author and then destroy the same. For authors who live outside of India, we require four sample chapters , a synopsis and an author brief , which can be sent by email , as a word document , in a zip file.

Genres that we usually deal with : While we do tend to work with a predominance of long fiction , we also handle non-fiction ,cookbooks , and a very small amount of poetry and short stories.
Event Management: In addition to our work as agents , we have also conceived and executed 'Writer's Block' , a festival that celebrates writers and writing , a cause that we are firmly committed to. The first South Indian Writer's Festival was held in Bangalore in December 2001 . We hope to make this a regular event - Writer's Block 2003 was held in Mumbai from Jan 10th-16th , this year , and there are plans to hold the South Indian chapter in Chennai , in April 2003 as well. In addition to this , we also organise and conduct book readings and launches.
